Join us for a special Friends event to see this exciting new musical.
Writer Stuart Hoar and composer Philip Norman collaborate in a cautionary tale of art and politics. When a wealthy philanthropist presents Frances Hodgkins's painting Pleasure Garden to the Robert McDougall Art Gallery, the donation ignites a civic battle that echoes across the decades.
Tickets $50 - each ticket will go into a draw to win a copy of the Gallery's stunning new publication, Shane Cotton: The Hanging Sky.
Numbers are limited. Bookings close Monday 26 August. Please email friends@ccc.govt.nz or call the Friends Office (03) 941 7356 and leave your contact details to confirm a place.
