This silkscreen print, which neatly sums up the feeling of a wintry day, was produced by John Coley for an exhibition by the 20/20 VISION group. He was one of the founders of the organisation, which had launched in 1964 with the intention of encouraging artists to experiment with new forms and materials. The 1968 show was designed to make their ideas accessible to a broad audience by offering quality multiple prints by some of New Zealand’s leading artists for just $2 each.
