Bridget Reweti

Bridget Reweti is an Ōtepoti Dunedin-based artist whose works bring to light Indigenous histories embedded within the landscape. These delicate photograms have been made directly onto pieces of the Dunedin Harbour Yacht Club sea wall using an innovative gelatin silver emulsion process to capture the silhouettes of native plants (kōwhai, mānuka, kawaka and toetoe). Some of these specimens were sourced from the Orokonui Ecosanctuary and others from the artist's garden.
