Iris is an early work by Wallwork, completed in 1909 when he was an assistant to Professor Moira at the Royal College of Art, London. The work shows influences of the Art Nouveau style, particularly in his treatment of the figure's flowing drapery. An edition of 25 prints were pulled from this plate.
