Merilynne is retiring today after nearly 30 years at the McDougall and subsequently Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o Waiwhetū.

The shop team have been in over the past couple of days cleaning up the mess made by the earthquake and they've done an amazing job getting everything back to what passes as normal around here at the moment. They won't be open for business anytime soon but in due course you'll be able purchase items from our website.

We'll be getting Merilynne back to say goodbye properly when things have settled down but until then, thanks Merilynne for the great work you've done for the gallery. We're going to miss you.
