David Armitage Survey 1965-1974

This was a survey exhibition of David Armitage's work covering the period 1965-1974 organised by the Dunedin Public Art Gallery with support of the Queen Elizabeth II Arts Council. The exhibition comprised of about 42 paintings and 26 drawings, the largest of the paintings being 84" x 72".

Most of the paintings were on loan for this purpose but some were for sale. The choice of the works for the exhibition was the artist's.

The accompanying exhibition catalogue contined 4 colour plates.
