About this Exhibition

Paysage translates as rural scene, landscape or landscape painting and in these two works Neate interprets the landscape in a highly personal manner, transforming it into abstract fusions of overlaid colour and shape. His sensations of the landscape are brought together on canvas to create a work that is impulsive and colourful. Paysage is currently displayed on the Montreal Street bunker directly in front of the Gallery.
