It was a perfect evening, warm and still with about 150 people enjoying the ambience of the garden and the pleasure of catching up with Friends again. Margaret Duncan, President, welcomed everyone and talked about the events the committee had managed to achieve during the extreme circumstances of the year. Jenny Harper, Gallery director, explained the situation the Gallery was facing post earthquake, and the exhibitions the staff were planning out of the gallery space. It was positive affirmation that we will get to see some good art around the city in the coming year.
