Volunteering at the Gallery is a fun and a rewarding way to meet new people, extend your arts knowledge and offer your time and skills to the wider community. Duties include guiding our free daily tours, guiding community groups and school groups, assisting with school groups and holiday programme activites in the education centre.

All our guides undertake a comprehensive training programme before they are rostered for duties, and there are ongoing training sessions scheduled for each new exhibition.

Recruitment for new guides takes place approximately every two years or when required.
