The undulating glass and metal façade evokes the sinuous form of the koru and Christchurch's Avon River, with a view to the large forecourt beyond. Elegant bluestone walls complement the red granite paved floor, and an impressive marble staircase leads to glass balconies overlooking the foyer.

The foyer allows up to 450 guests for cocktails, or 250-300 people seated, depending on stage and dance-floor requirements. Hire of all equipment such as chairs and tables, linen, cutlery and crockery and bar equipment is managed by the caterer.
